Side Project is an artist-led space in Walyalup (Fremantle), created to support emerging and early-career artists while sustaining my own practice. The space transforms from a working studio into a gallery multiple times a year, offering a professional, accessible platform for artists to exhibit their work.
By providing exhibition opportunities at no hire cost and only 20% commission on sales, Side Project allows artists to share their work, connect with audiences, and grow professionally without the financial pressures often associated with gallery representation. Beyond showcasing art, the project fosters collaboration with neighbouring galleries and local creatives, amplifies visibility for underrepresented voices, and contributes to Fremantle’s vibrant arts precinct.
Whether you’re an artist, maker, or art lover, Side Project is a space to explore new ideas, discover emerging talent, and experience contemporary art in an intimate and welcoming setting.
