Each series marks a distinct chapter: Fields, inspired by the aerial geometry of American irrigation circles. This Place, made during lockdown in London, raw and instinctive. Woven, exploring pattern, colour and the everyday objects that catch the eye. And most recently Keramik, a painted response to the West German studio pottery movement, created in the Perth studio from 2024.
Kate’s practice has always been driven by observation and obsession, a colour spotted in passing, a shape that won’t leave her alone, a rabbit hole that demands to be followed. The work reflects wherever she is and whatever has her attention.
